4 Best Beard Brushes of Spring 2018

Since we don’t sell beard brushes ourselves we thought it would be best to share the best beard brushes available.

Beard brushes are best used at the early stages of beard growth. You may want to consider a beard comb instead if your beard is longer.

These are the best beard brushes we could find on the market for this spring of 2018.

And they are all affordable. Hell yeah!

Our recommendations for the best beard brushes:

1. Zeus Beard Brush ($)

This company is one of our favorites because they are our neighbors in SoCal. This beard brush is awesome because it’s pocket-sized. It’s slightly larger than your average house key. Perfect for the beardsman on-the-go.

It is an oval pear wood handle with 100% first-cut boar bristles. With 585 5-Star reviews on Amazon, you can be sure this beard brush is a safe bet.

The dimensions are 3.25″L x 1.125″W x 1.125″

2. Seven Potions Beard Brush ($$)

Similar to the beard brush by Zeus, this brush by Seven Potions is also made with 100% first-cut boar bristles with a pearwood handle. They claim the product is ethically sourced, so that’s something we can get behind. The best beard brushes will come from ethical supply chains.

The dimensions are 3.7” x 2.1” x 1.3”  and it has over 50 5-star reviews on Amazon.

3. Plemo Beard Brush ($$)

The beard brush by Plemo is unique out of the brushes on this list in that its handle is circular.

They claim the round shape fits well in your hand. Try this one if you like a less conventional brush.

Also, they made it with 100% boar bristles and it comes in a cool tin package. Full disclosure, we couldn’t find the type of wood used for the handle.

Dimensions are 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.6 inches

4. ZilberHaar ($$)

The beard brush from ZilberHaar is the only brush on this list with a separate handle extending off. They made it out of pear wood and 100% boar bristles. Besides the handle, this brush is unique because its bristles are actually made from second cut boar bristles. The Zeus and Seven Potions beard comb bristles are made with first cut bristles.

ZilberHaar, obviously German, claim the second cut of the bristles is thinner than the first cut. This results in softer bristles which leads to a gentler touch on the skin. You should still be able to exfoliate with this brush, but the bristles may be significantly softer than you expect.

We couldn’t get the exact dimensions, but it appears to be about 6” long total, with 3” for the handle and 3” for the bristles.
